In the Spring term of 2021, our mentoring programs in partnership with TSOM Group, yielded an outstanding attendance rate of 96%. We're proud to be instrumental in increasing student attendance and engagement, transforming the educational landscape.
Holistic Approach
Our unique mentoring framework focuses on a variety of essential life skills, including future planning, social skills, anger and behaviour management strategies, career guidance, and personal budgeting. We go beyond traditional academics to equip students with practical skills needed for life's journey, ensuring they can not only excel in their education but also navigate the challenges of the real world.
Comprehensive Programmes
Our sessions run from Monday to Friday, fostering individual growth through 1:1 mentorship initially, before progressing to group sessions, in order to enhance communication and social skills. Each session is a unique learning experience. We regularly change venues to facilitate diverse skill development. We cover everything from bushcraft, cooking, and navigation to STEM subjects, gym skills, and leadership training.
We facilitate outings to museums and other educational settings, ensuring our students have an input in the planning, enabling dynamic learning environment.
Hands-On Learning
Our sessions are designed to present students with tasks and scenarios that challenge them to apply their newfound skills with a 'hands-on' approach. We ensure key personnel, are well informed with daily session reports and term summaries that provide valuable insights into student progress, including attendance and statistical information.
Our company ethos is based loosely on military values, encouraging self-respect, self-discipline, critical thinking, integrity, leadership, communication, and respect for others.
We truly believe that every child deserves the chance to become a functioning member of society who has the skillset to shine brightly.
We run daily sessions from Monday to Friday at 08:30 to 14:30, however the number of sessions per week may vary. Each student will initially work with a member of staff on a 1:1 basis in order to provide a safe environment for growth and development, before progressing to group sessions where applicable.
Every session teaches a unique skill. We teach bushcraft skills, cooking skills, navigation skills, command tasks, STEM subjects, gym skills, leaderships skills and much more.
We visit a multitude of educational sites, and we encourage students to be part of the session planning process.
